iPhone 18 Pro Max to Get Larger 5,425mAh Battery

Apple's iPhone 18 Pro Max will feature a 5,425mAh battery, a 48MP triple-camera system, and a new Samsung M16 LTPO+ OLED display.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max eSIM variant will see a battery increase to 5,425mAh, while the physical SIM model reaches 5,235mAh, up from the iPhone 17 Pro Max's 5,088mAh and 4,823mAh capacities respectively. The Pro duo will feature a vapor chamber and a pill-shaped cutout for the front camera and Face ID, with the IR flooder moving to the side or under the screen. The 48MP triple-camera setup includes a variable-aperture main lens, an ultra-wide sensor with enhanced OIS, and a periscope telephoto sensor. Displays utilize Samsung's native 10-bit M16 LTPO+ OLED technology with blue phosphorescent material and a 1Hz-120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the C2 modem for 5G mmWave and satellite connectivity, the devices feature a corrosion-resistant aluminum frame in four colors. The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to start at $1,399.
