AOC Debuts K27U3FD 5K Dual-Mode Gaming Monitor

AOC's new 27-inch Fast IPS display offers a unique dual-mode design, switching between 5K resolution and a high-speed 300Hz QHD mode.

AOC has introduced the K27U3FD, a 27-inch Fast IPS monitor featuring a dual-mode design. Users can switch between a 5K resolution (5120x2880) at 75Hz with 218ppi and a QHD mode (2560x1440) reaching 300Hz with a 1ms GtG response time. The 10-bit panel delivers 100% sRGB coverage, 96% DCI-P3 gamut, and factory calibration of ΔE<1. It features a 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450nits HDR brightness, and Adaptive-Sync support. The Red Dot Design award-winning chassis sits on a Pi-shaped metal stand providing 150mm height adjustment, bi-directional pivot, swivel, and tilt. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1 (48Gbps), DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, and a USB-C port with 96W Power Delivery. Additional ports include a USB-C data upstream, one USB-C downstream, four USB-A Gen 2 ports, and a headphone jack.
