Asus Launches NUC 16 Pro Mini-PC with Panther Lake
Asus releases the NUC 16 Pro featuring Intel Core Ultra 300 CPUs, starting at 631 Euro following the resolution of a Nokia patent dispute.
Asus has officially launched the NUC 16 Pro mini-PC, first showcased at CES 2026. Powered by Intel Core Ultra 300 Panther Lake processors, the series is now available in the DACH region. The barebone version starts at 631 Euro without RAM, SSD, or OS, while the top-tier 2,542 Euro kit features an Intel Core Ultra X9 388H, Arc B390 graphics, 32 GB of soldered LPDDR5X-9600 RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. Asus claims a 20 percent performance boost, 1.5 times faster 3D graphics, and 50 percent lower power consumption than predecessors. Connectivity includes WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, dual 2.5G LAN, two HDMI 2.1, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. The 0.7-liter MIL-STD-810H certified chassis measures 144 x 122 x 44 mm and offers tool-less M.2 SSD access, cooled by a dual-fan system with three heat pipes.
