Philips Debuts Triple-Hz Gaming Monitors

Philips announces the 27M4N3500PT and 27M4N5500PT gaming monitors, featuring a Triple-Hz mode with refresh rates reaching up to 540 Hz.

MMD's Philips brand has unveiled the 27M4N3500PT and 27M4N5500PT, two 27-inch gaming monitors equipped with Fast-IPS panels and anti-reflective coatings. These displays feature a unique Triple-Hz mode, allowing users to toggle between native WQHD at 275 Hz, Full HD at 360 Hz, and HD resolution at 540 Hz. Both models support HDR with 350 cd/m² luminance and flicker-free backlighting, though they lack dimming zones. Integrated gaming tools include Smart MBR-Sync, a black stabilizer, and a dynamic crosshair overlay that adjusts color based on the background. The hardware includes two HDMI 2.1 inputs and one DisplayPort 1.4. The 27M4N5500PT offers height, swivel, and pivot adjustments, while the 27M4N3500PT is expected to feature only a tilt function. Pricing and release dates for the German market have not yet been disclosed.
