Keychron Teases 23g G6 HE Fingertip Gaming Mouse
Keychron is gathering community feedback on a new ultra-lightweight G6 HE variant featuring a truncated shell and MagOptic switches.
Keychron recently shared a design concept on X for a fingertip variant of its G6 HE gaming mouse, featuring a shell with the back portion removed. To maintain balance with the reduced frame, the company moved the removable battery location forward. The mouse is equipped with a PAW3955 sensor, MagOptic switches, and programmable side buttons, supporting an 8K polling rate and tri-mode connectivity. Keychron aims for a wireless weight of approximately 30g, which drops to 23g in wired mode without the battery. The design is not yet finalized as Keychron seeks community input before beginning the tooling process. Early user suggestions include requests for an asymmetrical shape, a pinky rest, lowered click buttons, and attachment points for 3D-printed modifications.
